The SOLVE (Solidarity for Vaccine Equity) team, led by Dr. Katrina Plamondon, is using the issue of vaccine nationalism to bring people together to reimagine the standards and guidelines that might guide governing tables toward more equitable futures. With members from across Canada, the SOLVE team is holding deliberative dialogues, and using the findings to contribute directly to the development of a pandemic treaty at the World Health Organization. In addition to submitting comments and a 90 second video, the team are now attending a series of conversational sessions led by the WHO International Negotiating Body (INB) focusing on a range of topics including equity.

For more information see: SOLVE’s submission to the INB, and video.  The project, funded by CIHR, is summarized in this infographic.
