Dr. Charlene Ronquillo, School of Nursing, Faculty of Health and Social Development, University of British Columbia Okanagan

Dr. Charlene Ronquillo, IHLCDP Associate and Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing is one of 13 outstanding individuals from across multiple disciplines to receive a 2022 Research Fellowship in Compassion and Artificial Intelligence. The AMS Compassion and AI program focuses the integration of digital technology and compassionate care to innovate healthcare. As a fellow, Dr. Ronquillo will develop and test compassion and equity-grounded natural language processing application to leverage otherwise unused community nursing clinical notes.
