Institute for Healthy Living & Chronic Disease Prevention

The Institute for Healthy Living and Chronic Disease Prevention is a collaborative research institute based at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus in Kelowna, BC, Canada. The Institute is committed to supporting the development of research partnerships in new areas of research related to chronic disease prevention, and to providing students with research training opportunities.

We encourage and support research that links communities with the university, focusing on building research capacity, and creating and using new knowledge in ways that benefit individuals, families and communities.
