SAVE ME: steps to save a life

Posted in Campus Health on September 22, 2018

SAVE ME @ FROSH

The Voice Campus Health team, in partnership with two 4th year UBCO nursing students and one 2nd year UBC medical student, hosted a booth at FROSH. FROSH is a large party event hosed by the UBC Students’ Union. Bracelets and business cards with the SAVE ME acronym were handed out to educate event participants on the steps to reverse an opioid overdose. We took this opportunity to advertise for our future naloxone training days. This booth was well received by participants and many showed interest in obtaining a naloxone kit in the future.
