On February 26, UBC and UBCO researchers and staff working on “aging” gathered in Kelowna for the third and final workshop to provide feedback on a draft strategic plan for UBC’s aging network. Over the past year, the Re-Imagine Aging Network, spearheaded by the Active Aging Research Team, led the workshop series to develop a strategic plan for UBC’s aging network, with the ultimate vision to create a network in which UBC and UBCO researchers and community stakeholders may come together to collaborate and share their perspectives, knowledge and recommendations to advance aging research. IHLCDP Associate Dr. Jennifer Jakobi is the lead for this Network on the UBCO campus.
