PROJECT ABSTRACT
Caregivers in both urban and rural environments often sacrifice their own health and self-care to provide care to their loved ones. The aim of this project is to better understand the needs of both urban and rural Caregivers and ultimately to design interventions to enhance and promote their health. The goals of this RIG are to build a new team of academic and community-based researchers, build capacity to do community-based health research, and identify and share findings of successful caregiver health and wellness programs.
