A MURPH Program webinar

Presenters:
Anansha Gounder is a peer support worker with Foundry Kelowna. She has been on Foundry’s Youth Action and Advisory Committee as an administrative assistant, and has been working with the CLARITY project since October 2020 as a research fellowship trainee.

Erin Delfs is a fourth-year Human Kinetics student at UBC Okanagan with a specialization in Health Promotion. She joined the CLARITY Project in October, 2020 as a research assistant and scholar via UBC’s Multidisciplinary Undergraduate Research Projects in Health (MURPH) Program.

Helen Chiang is a second-year Science student majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Her passion for health research led her to the MURPH program and the CLARITY project.

The CLARITY (Community-Led Actions for Resilience Important Throughout Youth) Project seeks to explore and design community-level factors and environments in the Central Okanagan that foster youth resilience and protect against suicide. Hosted by three youth researchers, this presentation offers an inside look into the important work the CLARITY Project has done over the past several months.
